Overview. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of thermatov.ca and the products and services we offer through it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Thermatov. We may update them from time to time, and continued use of the site after we post an update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version is always available on this page, with the effective date shown at the top.
Eligibility
To make a purchase, you must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and provide accurate and complete information. By placing an order, you confirm that all information you provide is true and that you are authorised to use the payment method you submit.
Account Responsibilities
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
Products, Pricing, and Availability
We make every effort to display our products, descriptions, specifications, and pricing accurately. However, errors can occur. Colour reproduction, dimensions, finish details, and technical specifications shown online are approximate and may differ slightly from the delivered product. Wood is a natural material and small variations in grain, knot pattern, and tone are characteristic, not defects.
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Prices, promotions, and product availability are subject to change without notice. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product after you place an order, we will contact you to confirm or cancel the order before it ships.
Configurator Renderings and Product Warranty
The 3D configurator and any renderings, images, or previews it produces are illustrative and representative only. They are intended to help you visualise a build and are not a contractual specification or an exact depiction of the finished product. Natural wood grain, colour and tone, hardware, finishes, and exact dimensions may vary in the delivered product, and on-screen colours may differ from the finished item depending on your display. Final specifications are confirmed in your written order confirmation.
Our products carry a 5-year limited warranty covering materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage arising from improper use, inadequate care or maintenance, or improper installation. Full warranty terms, including what is covered and excluded, are set out on our Warranty page.
Orders and Payment
Your order is an offer to purchase. We accept your order when we issue an order confirmation by email, at which point a contract is formed. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock shortages, or restrictions on shipping to your location. If we cancel an order before payment has been collected, no charge will apply. If we cancel after payment, we will issue a full refund.
Payment is processed through reputable third-party processors. Your card details are never stored on our servers. By submitting payment information, you authorise the processor to charge the amount of your order to your selected payment method.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping timeframes shown on the site and at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. Most orders ship via LTL freight on a pallet and require coordination with the carrier for a delivery window. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier marks the shipment as delivered. You are responsible for inspecting your shipment on arrival; please see our Return Policy for the inspection and damage-claim process.
Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, photography, illustrations, 3D renders, video, code, layouts, the Thermatov name, and our logos, is owned by Thermatov or our licensors and protected by Canadian and international intellectual-property laws. You may view and download content for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, including reproduction, distribution, modification, or creation of derivative works, requires our prior written consent.

Saunas, cold plunges, and similar wellness products carry inherent physical risk. You are responsible for using them safely and in accordance with all instructions and applicable medical guidance. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any heat or cold therapy practice, particularly if you have a cardiovascular condition, are pregnant, or have any other relevant medical concern.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thermatov, its directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site or our products, regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the products you purchase will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your province or territory of residence.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Thermatov harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of the rights of any third party.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the site or our products will be brought exclusively in the courts of Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with a “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted through the site or by direct notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.
