Heaters sized for your sauna
Best fit firstSizing is a guide for an insulated indoor room; final selection should confirm the manufacturer's room range and your electrical supply. For glass-heavy, outdoor or commercial builds we recommend an expert review.
Common questions
HUUM sauna heaters, answered.
As a guide, allow roughly 1 kW of output for every 1.3–2 m³ (about 45–70 cu ft) of room volume, adding capacity for glass and uninsulated surfaces. Measure length × width × height, match the kW, and our team can confirm the right DROP, HIVE or CLIFF for your space.
The DROP is a compact wall-mounted heater with a sculptural stone cradle; the HIVE and HIVE Mini are floor units with a large surrounding stone volume for soft, generous steam; the CLIFF and STEEL lines offer alternative silhouettes. All are designed in Estonia.
Yes. The HUUM UKU control comes in a Wi-Fi version that pairs with the HUUM app, so you can pre-heat and schedule your sauna from your phone. Pair it with compatible HUUM heaters.
HUUM offers models certified to North American standards for 240V installation. Certification can vary by model, so check the certification noted on each product page or ask our team before purchasing.
Electric HUUM heaters (DROP, HIVE, CLIFF, STEEL) suit indoor, app-controlled saunas. The HIVE Wood is a wood-burning stove for off-grid and outdoor saunas where you want a live fire without an electrical supply.
Electric sauna heaters above roughly 3 kW need a dedicated 240V circuit and must be hard-wired by a licensed electrician to your local code. We can advise on breaker and wire sizing for your chosen model.
